The Site

The Jamboree will be held on the Indian Foothills Park which is within the City Limits of Marshall, Missouri. The bow range has practice butts for shooting from 10 yards to 50 yards.  The facility also has four 3-D  ranges, two of which will be set up for leisure shooting. A shelter house and concession area is on site. The concession stand will be open for lunch only.

His and Hers restroom facilities are on site, but they are primitive (out-houses). Running water is available to fill containers. Primintive camping is available on site on a first come, first served basis. Cooking must be with camp stoves or grills. Individual fires are not allowed. A central campfire may be a possibility.

The Park

The park has tennis courts, a nine hole golf course, a swimming pool, a fishing lake and a play ground. Shelter houses are scattered throughout the park. Modern restrooms are available during park open hours. Showers should be available at the pool. (Details are still being worked out).

about the several nice bed and breakfast establishments in the area.

Arrow Rock State Park

Arrow Rock State Park is located at the Arrow Rock Historic Area, a
preserved 1800's river town. Many Bed and Breakfast's are located here
as well as antique shops and historic buildings. Camping is available in the
park for $6.00 per night (basic) or $12.00 per night (electric). These are
on a first come basis. Showers ae avaiable.  Contact Arrow Rock State
Park at (660) 837-3330. The Park is approximately 15 miles from the
Jamboree site.

VanMeter State Park

VanMeter State Park is located approximately 15 miles North of the site
of the Jamboree. The park has camp sites available on a first come basis.
Rates are $6.00 per night (basic) and $12.00 per night (electric). Showers
are available. The park has a native american museum on the grounds. For

Lazy Days Camp Ground

Lazy Days Camp Ground is located approximately 10 miles South of the
Jamboree Site. Full hook up sites are available for $15.00 per night and
camping sites are available fro $10.00 per night. Use of swimming pool
and showers are included in the price. Reservations are accepted.
